Precast Inspector

About the role

We are seeking a Precast Inspector to support marine and infrastructure projects in Abu Dhabi. The role involves ensuring that precast concrete elements are produced, handled, transported and installed in compliance with drawings, specifications and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect precast concrete elements during production, handling, transportation and installation.
• Monitor manufacturing activities to verify compliance with approved drawings, specifications and quality requirements.
• Witness concrete batching, placement, vibration, curing and finishing, and review mix designs and test results.
• Inspect reinforcement, formwork, dimensions, embedded items, lifting anchors and finished elements for defects such as cracks or honey‑combing.
• Coordinate with contractors, precast manufacturers, laboratories and site teams to resolve quality issues and raise inspection reports.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience in precast concrete inspection and quality control, preferably on marine and infrastructure projects.
• Familiarity with international standards, project specifications and UAE construction practices.
• Strong communication and reporting skills.

Required skills

• Precast concrete inspection and quality control.
• Concrete testing (slump, temperature, cube testing) and mix‑design review.
• Knowledge of reinforcement, formwork, casting, curing and precast installation procedures.
• Documentation of inspection records, photographs and test reports.
