Predictive Analyst

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Data/Decision Scientist to join our team as a Predictive Analyst. You will enhance our prediction pipelines, enable large‑scale forecasting across multiple jurisdictions, and optimise net revenue for our credit products.

Key responsibilities

• Review partner datasets and develop robust machine‑learning models.
• Collect, preprocess, and analyse large, complex data to ensure integrity.
• Design and implement feature‑engineering techniques, including clustering and dimensionality reduction.
• Build and maintain automated predictive modules in Python for our credit products.
• Design and run A/B experiments to validate models and hypotheses.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deploy models into production environments.
• Translate analytical findings into actionable insights for technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Continuously monitor, evaluate, and improve model performance.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in data science, decision science, or machine‑learning engineering.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with the capacity to work independently and within a team.
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills to convey complex results.

Required skills

• Expert‑level Python programming.
• Advanced SQL proficiency (Postgres, Redshift or similar).
• Deep understanding of data structures such as lists, dictionaries, arrays, and data frames.
• Experience with data visualisation and statistical inference.
