Primary Teacher – Immediate Start

About the role

GEMS Winchester Private School in Fujairah is seeking a Primary Class Teacher to join the team immediately. The role involves delivering the British curriculum to a diverse group of young learners while fostering an inclusive, supportive classroom environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess lessons in line with the National Curriculum for England and the British Curriculum.
• Create a positive, inclusive learning atmosphere that encourages student participation and confidence.
• Collaborate regularly with colleagues, parents and the wider school community to support student progress.
• Contribute to the school’s mission of high academic standards and holistic development.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of teaching experience in a British‑Curriculum school.
• Relevant qualification such as a Bachelor in Primary Education, BA + B Ed, or PGCE (QTS).
• Strong commitment to excellence in teaching and learning.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work in an English‑speaking environment.
• Willingness to undergo a UK‑enhanced DBS or equivalent police check.
