Primary Teacher - Immediate Start

About the role

Al Rabeeh Academy, a progressive British curriculum school in Abu Dhabi, is looking for experienced and passionate Primary Teachers to join its team with an immediate start. The school is an Outstanding British Schools Organisation (BSO) institution, part of British Schools in the Middle East, and offers the English National Curriculum alongside Arabic from FS1 to Year 13.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, well-structured lessons in line with the English National Curriculum
• Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating learning environment that supports student progress
• Use effective assessment strategies to monitor, track and report on student attainment and progress
• Contribute to planning, curriculum development and collaborative year-group work
• Support the pastoral needs of students and promote the school's values and behaviour expectations
• Communicate regularly with parents about student achievements and areas for development
• Participate in school events, professional development and wider school initiatives

Required profile

• Fluent English speaker
• Bachelor's degree in Education or a relevant subject with PGCE / QTS (or equivalent teaching qualification)
• Experience teaching the English National Curriculum, preferably in an international setting
• Strong classroom management skills and commitment to student wellbeing
