About the role
Aldar Academies are seeking a Primary Teacher (PYP) on maternity cover for Bateen World Academy, starting November 2026. The school is located in the centre of Abu Dhabi and offers the IB Primary Years Programme from FS1 to Year 6, providing a vibrant, high‑achieving learning environment.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver outstanding PYP lessons, setting clear objectives and targets.
- Differentiate instruction for SEN, EAL and gifted‑and‑talented students.
- Use assessment data and ICT tools to inform planning and enhance learning.
- Maintain classroom discipline in line with the Behaviour for Learning Policy.
- Mark student work regularly, provide feedback and set progress targets.
Required profile
- Bachelor's Degree in Primary Education.
- Minimum of 2 years teaching experience.
- Clean enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) or police check.
