Principal Solution Architect - Customer Applications

About the role

Emirates is seeking a Principal Solution Architect to lead the design and governance of customer‑facing applications, including CRM, loyalty, marketing and AI‑driven solutions. You will shape the future of customer engagement across the airline’s digital ecosystem while aligning architecture with corporate business and IT strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Define and govern corporate IT standards, guidelines and practices for customer applications.
• Monitor technology trends, assess strategic impact and update the enterprise architecture roadmap.
• Lead proof‑of‑concept initiatives to demonstrate business value of new technologies.
• Develop solution architecture for new projects, vendor acquisitions and enhancements, ensuring integration and quality.
• Collaborate with agile teams to align architecture decisions with development practices.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in enterprise and solution architecture, preferably within a large international airline or aviation service provider.
• Strong understanding of the airline industry’s customer‑centric systems.
• Proven ability to influence strategic technology decisions at an enterprise level.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
