Private Finance Manager

About the role

The Private Finance Manager will oversee budgeting, payments, reporting and financial processes for privately used assets within a fast‑paced, international environment. You will work closely with family‑office teams, finance stakeholders, contractors and senior leadership to provide accurate financial insights and support decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Manage budgeting processes for personal expenses and privately used assets, monitoring income, expenses and performance.
• Execute and oversee payments through bank accounts, credit cards and digital wallets, ensuring compliance and proper documentation.
• Maintain accurate monthly accounting records in ERP and finance systems.
• Prepare monthly budget vs. actual reports, analyse deviations and present insights to senior stakeholders.
• Coordinate with contractors on agreements, service payments, documentation and balance reconciliation.
• Review advance expense reports, validate allocations and ensure correct classification.
• Control privately used payment methods, including limits, card controls and transaction tracking.
• Support treasury operations during peak periods or team absences, including occasional travel.
• Improve financial processes, reporting structures, ERP workflows and expense management procedures.

Required profile

• Strong experience in private finance management, financial operations or similar roles handling complex payments and reporting.
• Solid accounting knowledge, including expense classification, allocation, AP/AR processes and month‑end discipline.
• Understanding of end‑to‑end banking operations, multi‑currency payments and reconciliation.
• Experience with ERP or finance systems.
