Procurement and Strategic Sourcing Lead

About the role

The Procurement and Strategic Sourcing Lead reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer and is responsible for shaping procurement strategy across technology, operations and corporate functions. This senior position will own the full commercial lifecycle of supplier relationships, from market assessment to performance management and commercial optimisation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a procurement strategy aligned with business objectives and governance requirements.
• Build and manage strategic sourcing plans for major spend categories, including technology, software, professional services and corporate services.
• Lead complex procurement initiatives that support organisational transformation and cost optimisation.
• Oversee technology and AI procurement, evaluating models such as token‑based, consumption, API and usage‑based pricing.
• Manage the full contract lifecycle in partnership with Legal, including RFPs, negotiations, SOWs, renewals and exit planning.
• Establish executive‑level relationships with strategic suppliers and implement governance frameworks for performance monitoring.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in procurement and strategic sourcing, preferably within technology‑focused environments.
• Proven track record of leading procurement strategy and delivering cost‑optimisation outcomes.
• Experience working closely with senior leadership, finance, legal, technology and operations teams.
• Strong analytical, negotiation and commercial optimisation skills.
