Procurement Assistant – Purchasing & Coordination

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Procurement Assistant to support the daily operations of our purchasing and supply‑chain department. You will help maintain efficient procurement workflows, manage purchase orders and ensure timely acquisition of goods and services across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Process purchase requisitions, verify against operational budgets and issue formal Purchase Orders.
• Track delivery timelines, perform 3‑way matching and audit supplier invoices.
• Liaise with vendors to resolve order discrepancies, delays or damaged shipments.
• Conduct initial price comparisons and support preliminary supplier negotiations.
• Maintain accurate inventory data, assist with periodic stock audits and reconcile receipts with finance.
• Ensure all procurement files comply with company policy and audit standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Procurement, Finance or a related field.
• Practical understanding of the complete purchase‑to‑pay (P2P) cycle.
• Hands‑on experience with ERP or procurement systems.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with suppliers and manage vendor contacts.
• Intermediate‑to‑advanced proficiency with spreadsheet tools for reporting and data validation.
• Attention to detail for compliance and audit preparedness.
