Procurement Coordinator

About the role

The Procurement Coordinator will support the procurement function of Crown Holdings in the United Arab Emirates, handling end‑to‑end purchasing of spare parts, consumables, general supplies and capital equipment. The role ensures that materials are available on time to keep plant operations running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Manage local and overseas purchases of spare parts, tools, consumables and general supplies.
• Source and procure capital equipment after approval from Head Office.
• Conduct market surveys, send RFQs and negotiate price, delivery and payment terms.
• Generate purchase orders, verify specifications and pricing, and process invoices after goods receipt.
• Coordinate freight shipments from the USA and UK, ensuring timely delivery.
• Handle cash purchases below AED 1,000 and hand over items to stores.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes and internal controls.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a fast‑paced team.
