Procurement Coordinator

About the role

Support the timely and cost‑effective procurement of goods and services by coordinating purchase requests, supplier quotations, purchase orders and deliveries. Ensure compliance with approved budgets, procurement policies and delegated approval limits while maintaining accurate records.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate purchase requisitions with requesting departments, verifying specifications, quantities and approvals.
• Obtain and compare supplier quotations on price, quality, availability, delivery timelines and payment terms.
• Prepare and process purchase orders in the approved ERP system after securing required approvals.
• Track order acknowledgements, deliveries and maintain an open‑order tracker, escalating delays as needed.
• Manage receipt of goods, address shortages, damages, returns and coordinate with stores or departments.
• Match supplier invoices against purchase orders and goods receipt, working with Finance to resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain organized procurement records for reporting and audit purposes.
• Support negotiations on pricing and commercial terms within delegated authority and identify cost‑saving opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in procurement, purchasing or supply‑chain coordination; UAE experience is an advantage.
• Knowledge of purchase requisitions, quotation comparisons, order processing and invoice matching.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience using an ERP or procurement system.
