Procurement Executive

About the role

The Procurement Executive is responsible for sourcing and negotiating the purchase of goods and services for assigned categories, ensuring optimal quality, price, and timely delivery. The role works closely with internal departments and suppliers to meet business unit requirements while maintaining strong supplier relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Process all RFQs, prepare quotations, conduct comparative analysis and run auctions where applicable.
• Ensure full and on‑time delivery of quantities and services.
• Support the Category Manager in achieving monthly savings targets.
• Generate and renew high‑value contracts at least 90 days before expiry.
• Introduce new suppliers annually to reduce SSPJ and improve cost efficiency.
• Track year‑to‑date spend, perform ABC analysis and propose cost‑reduction projects.
• Manage and resolve complaints from originating departments through the SCN process.
• Maintain and update the approved supplier list with ratings for review and approval.
• Negotiate payment terms to improve cash flow.
• Handle new supplier registration and changes in Oracle after HOP approval.
• Generate online gate passes for material deliveries to JAFZA and coordinate entry approvals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Procurement professional certifications.
• Familiarity with ERP system operations.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) and Microsoft Office suite.
