Procurement Finance Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Procurement Finance Specialist to join a dynamic finance team supporting a well‑established organization in the United Arab Emirates. The role focuses on end‑to‑end procure‑to‑pay processes, ensuring accurate invoice handling, vendor coordination and compliance with financial policies.

Key responsibilities

• Process and validate purchase requisitions and purchase orders.
• Perform three‑way matching of purchase orders, goods receipts and supplier invoices.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve invoice discrepancies.
• Monitor accounts payable activities and ensure timely invoice processing.
• Support Procure‑to‑Pay operations while adhering to procurement policies.
• Review supplier invoices for accuracy and obtain necessary approvals.
• Maintain procurement and financial records within ERP systems.
• Generate procurement reports, dashboards and KPI trackers.
• Assist month‑end closing activities related to procurement transactions.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Finance and Operations teams to streamline processes.
• Support vendor onboarding, master data maintenance and contract documentation.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in Procurement Finance, Accounts Payable or Procure‑to‑Pay.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP MM, SAP Ariba, Oracle ERP or similar procurement systems.
• Strong understanding of purchase requisitions, purchase orders, invoice processing and vendor management.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and organizational abilities.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
