Procurement Manager (Hospitality Resort)

About the role

Wynn Al Marjan Island is developing the UAE's first integrated resort, slated to open in 2027. The resort will feature over 1,500 rooms, multiple dining venues, entertainment spaces, and extensive leisure facilities. We are seeking a Procurement Manager to lead our buying team and drive cost‑effective sourcing for this landmark project.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee a team of Buyers, assign tasks, monitor performance and provide mentorship.
• Create, develop and execute quotations and RFPs to secure the most competitive proposals.
• Negotiate with suppliers to achieve optimal Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).
• Maintain market awareness, understand category requirements and ensure end‑user needs are met.
• Participate in vendor and supplier relationship management, enforcing high performance standards.
• Develop category strategies to mitigate marketplace risks.
• Utilise reports and KPIs for data‑driven decision making.
• Collaborate with internal departments to assess needs and recommend cost‑effective solutions.
• Drive process improvements and maintain departmental SOPs.
• Train end‑users on procure‑to‑pay processes and support team development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Procurement, Supply Management or Hospitality Management.
• APICS or ISM certification is an advantage.
• Minimum three years of procurement management experience in a large organisation.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, BirchStreet and SharePoint.
• Strong organisational, communication and presentation abilities.
• Analytical, detail‑oriented and skilled in negotiation.
