Procurement Manager – Industrial & Project Procurement

About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled Procurement Manager with extensive experience in industrial and project‑based procurement. You will lead the acquisition of goods and services throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring cost‑effective, timely, and compliant delivery aligned with business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end procurement processes, including RFQs, bid evaluations, purchase order issuance, and contract management.
• Collaborate early with engineering and project execution teams to develop optimized sourcing strategies.
• Identify, qualify, and onboard suppliers that meet technical specifications and compliance standards.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules to maximize value and mitigate risk.
• Monitor supplier performance, addressing quality, delivery, or invoicing issues.
• Maintain accurate procurement records in ERP systems such as SAP.
• Support internal and external audits, ensuring adherence to procurement policies.
• Drive cost‑saving initiatives and continuous improvement.
• Manage procurement for Controls & Digitalization systems, including hardware (I/O modules, CPUs, HMIs), software licenses, and integration services.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of procurement experience, preferably in energy, infrastructure, or engineering projects (10‑15 years preferred).
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication abilities.
• Proficiency with procurement software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
• Knowledge of contract law, international sourcing, and vendor‑management best practices.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment.
• Familiarity with automation, control systems, and electrical procurement is an advantage.
