Procurement Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Procurement Manager to lead the sourcing and purchasing activities for our construction projects, covering both civil and MEP works. The role focuses on developing cost-effective strategies, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services to support company growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement innovative, cost-effective procurement strategies.
• Identify and qualify profitable suppliers, establishing long-term partnerships.
• Negotiate contracts and terms with vendors to secure advantageous conditions.
• Approve purchase orders and coordinate delivery of materials and services.
• Review and renegotiate existing contracts to maintain feasibility.
• Track and report key metrics to reduce expenses and improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to clarify specifications and expectations.
• Conduct risk assessments on potential contracts and agreements.
• Manage the procurement budget and promote long-term cost savings.
• Oversee systems that monitor shipments, inventory, and material supply.
• Prepare regular procurement reports for senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Procurement Manager in the construction sector, covering civil and MEP projects.
• Strong analytical, decision-making and leadership abilities.
• Excellent organizational and detail-oriented approach.

Required skills

• Proficiency with supply chain management software such as SAP or Candy.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access).
