Procurement Manager – Media & Marketing

About the role

The Procurement Manager – Marketing is responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies for Media and Marketing categories across the Al-Futtaim Group. Managing an annual spend of over AED 100 million, the role works closely with Marketing, Finance and Corporate Services to deliver cost‑effective solutions while ensuring compliance with group policies.

Key responsibilities

• Design and own comprehensive sourcing strategies for Media and Marketing categories, targeting cost savings and service level improvements.
• Lead end‑to‑end sourcing projects, including RFIs, RFPs and RFQs, and select optimal suppliers.
• Manage high‑value supplier relationships and strategic contracts, safeguarding commercial and legal interests.
• Monitor procurement compliance, apply risk‑management techniques and drive performance improvement initiatives with key vendors.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (post‑graduate qualification or recognized procurement certification is a plus).
• 4‑5+ years of experience in procurement, category management or strategic sourcing, preferably within Marketing and Advertising.
• Proven track record of managing complex projects, negotiating contracts and coaching junior team members.

Required skills

• Advanced negotiation and category‑strategy development.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Power BI and e‑sourcing/ERP systems.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross‑functional relationship building.
