About the role
Asghar Furniture is seeking an experienced Procurement Officer to manage sourcing, supplier relationships, negotiations and purchasing within the furniture sector in the UAE.
Key responsibilities
- Source and obtain quotations from UAE furniture and material suppliers.
- Negotiate competitive prices and issue purchase orders.
- Maintain a strong network of suppliers and manage ongoing relationships.
- Ensure quality, cost control and timely delivery of hardware, accessories and fittings.
- Follow up on orders to guarantee materials are available when required.
Required profile
- Reliable, proactive and commercially minded professional.
- Ability to work independently and identify the right suppliers.
- Strong focus on controlling purchasing costs and ensuring material availability.
