Procurement Officer – Immediate Joiner

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Procurement Officer to join our team immediately. The role involves managing the end‑to‑end purchasing process, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain physical and electronic procurement files and records.
• Receive material requisitions, generate purchase orders and track local purchase orders (LPOs).
• Match delivery notes with invoices and LPOs before forwarding to accounts.
• Administer supply contracts, outline policies with suppliers and keep the approved vendor list up‑to‑date.
• Obtain quotations, negotiate prices and delivery terms, and monitor supplier performance.
• Coordinate with store, site supervisors and managers to ensure materials arrive on schedule and in good condition.
• Support tendering activities by providing competitive quotations.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and information security policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement or a related field, preferably with landscape experience.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Immediate availability.

Required skills

• Proficiency in preparing purchase orders and managing procurement documentation.
• Experience negotiating with suppliers and managing contracts.
• Knowledge of health, safety, environmental and information security compliance.
