Procurement Officer

About the role

The Procurement Officer will join Golden Offshore Marine Industries in Abu Dhabi, supporting the company’s shipbuilding, repair and marine construction activities. This full‑time, on‑site position is responsible for managing day‑to‑day purchasing operations to ensure timely and cost‑effective delivery of materials and services.

Key responsibilities

• Process purchase orders and maintain accurate procurement records.
• Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to guarantee on‑time deliveries.
• Monitor cost performance and implement initiatives to improve cost efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in procurement and purchasing processes.
• Ability to manage purchase orders and supplier relationships effectively.
• Strong contract negotiation and vendor management capabilities.
• Analytical mindset for evaluating costs and supplier performance.
• Attention to detail and capacity to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Knowledge of the marine and construction industry is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
