Procurement Officer

About the role

Archirodon Construction is seeking a Procurement Officer to manage the procurement needs of its projects across the United Arab Emirates. You will work closely with internal departments and external vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods, services, and sub‑contracts while maintaining cost efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Process procurement requests through the ERP system and coordinate with departments to forecast demand and evaluate inventory levels.
• Negotiate directly with vendors to secure the best commercial terms and initiate RFQs, compare offers, and award contracts.
• Administer and expedite project supplies, services, and sub‑contracts, ensuring compliance with procurement contracts.
• Apply cost‑management techniques to identify reduction opportunities and assess pricing impacts.
• Build and maintain strong vendor relationships, conduct routine performance reviews, and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.

Required profile

• Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical) or Finance.
• Minimum five years of experience in a similar procurement role, preferably within the construction sector.
• Proven understanding of procurement contracts and strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
• Excellent negotiation and consulting abilities, local market knowledge, and fluency in English.
