Procurement Officer

About the role

The Procurement Officer is a core member of the Corporate Operations team, responsible for end‑to‑end sourcing and purchasing across all spend categories, including technology, SaaS, professional services, facilities and operational supplies. The role balances rigorous procurement processes with business agility in a fast‑moving FinTech group.

Key responsibilities

• Lead full‑cycle sourcing activities (RFI, RFQ, RFP) for technology, services and operational categories.
• Evaluate suppliers using total cost of ownership criteria (cost, quality, risk, service).
• Conduct market intelligence and benchmarking to secure the most economical goods and services.
• Draft, review and manage procurement contracts in partnership with Legal, Finance and business stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, approval matrices and UAE regulatory requirements.
• Process purchase requisitions, orders and receipts, and coordinate PO‑to‑invoice workflows with Finance.
• Monitor open orders, delivery timelines and proactively address supply issues.
• Track and analyse spend data, prepare procurement reports, dashboards and savings metrics.
• Forecast demand and identify aggregation opportunities across group entities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance or related field.
• 4–7 years of procurement experience, preferably in financial services, technology or multi‑entity corporate environments.
• Hands‑on experience managing multi‑category procurement (IT/SaaS, professional services, facilities/operations).
• Exposure to FinTech, InsurTech or regulated financial services is an advantage.
• Professional certification such as CIPS, CPSM or equivalent is preferred.
