Procurement Operations Manager

About the role

The Procurement Operations Manager will lead the VMCP operating model, ensuring effective policies, technology, governance and talent management. The role supports the Head of Department in driving spend influence, risk reduction and value creation for ADIB.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain VMCP policies, procedures and technology platforms.
• Manage low‑value, low‑risk commodity spend on behalf of ADIB departments.
• Lead major negotiations and present procurement strategies to senior stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate supply‑chain risks while uncovering cost‑saving opportunities.
• Drive digitalisation of spend catalogues and improve reporting on savings, risks and compliance.
• Provide risk‑management strategies for strategic and critical vendors.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 years of procurement experience, preferably in financial services.
• Professional qualification such as CIPS (or working towards) and legal awareness (LLB) is required.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and influence senior leadership.
