Procurement Specialist

About the role

Worley is seeking a Procurement Specialist to develop integrated procurement plans and procedures that support organizational strategies. The role will manage and control procurement processes and execution within PTS projects, providing expertise to achieve project goals.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare internal procurement‑related plans and procedures as required.
• Ensure the contractor develops and submits project procurement and subcontracting plans in line with the agreement.
• Review and approve the contractor’s procurement and subcontracting plans and procedures.
• Validate the contractor’s procurement organisation chart and resource allocation.
• Monitor contractor compliance with contractual procurement obligations.
• Track procurement activities against project schedules, including plan issuance, enquiries, technical bid evaluations, award recommendations, purchase orders, expediting, inspection, shipping, duty exemption requests, and progress reporting.
• Maintain and review updated procurement reports such as Bid Inquiry Status Report, Procurement Service Register, Inspection & Expediting Report, Shipping Status Report, and Spare Parts Status Report.

Required profile

• Experience managing procurement teams and overseeing contractor procurement and subcontracting activities.
• Ability to ensure compliance with contractual requirements and project timelines.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes within engineering and construction projects.
