Product Analyst

About the role

Geotab is seeking a Product Analyst to own the metrics, queries, dashboards and data architecture for its GVP platform. You will work closely with senior product, engineering and service leaders to turn data into actionable insights.

Key responsibilities

• Define, instrument, track and analyse product and business metrics such as adoption, engagement, retention and revenue.
• Write and maintain metric queries, reporting pipelines and dashboards for daily, weekly and quarterly reporting.
• Conduct deep‑dive analyses on product usage, funnels, pricing and operational questions, presenting clear recommendations.
• Design and maintain data architecture, schemas and models supporting analytics.
• Partner with product management to size opportunities, set success metrics and evaluate feature launches.

Required profile

• Proven record of shipped analyses, models or data products that informed real decisions.
• Self‑starter with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable handling a high‑intensity workload and willing to work onsite in Dubai.

Required skills

• Strong SQL proficiency.
• Working knowledge of Python or R.
• Experience with a BI tool such as Looker, Tableau or Power BI.
• Hands‑on experience with data modelling and cloud data warehouses (e.g., BigQuery).
