Product Designer - Global Public Sector

About the role

Scale is looking for a bilingual Product Designer to build intuitive, AI-driven experiences for government and enterprise clients across the Middle East. The role suits someone who thrives in the ambiguity of early-stage product design and wants to shape the role of AI in modern business applications.

Key responsibilities

• Lead 0-1 design: own the design process from raw concept to final implementation, working directly with PMs and engineers to ship products quickly
• Develop concepts by extracting key insights from PM and client feedback
• Manage expectations of multiple stakeholders and align them around a clear design direction
• Communicate and prototype visually, delivering polished verbal communication and visual storytelling using AI tools such as Cursor and Claude
• Make design decisions informed by research, data and user insights

Required profile

• Fluent in Arabic and English (hard requirement)
• Mix of startup and established company experience, including at least one role at a well-respected company with a strong product development culture
• Experience in B2B products for government or enterprise clients
• Prior work experience in the GCC (Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, UAE)
• Based in the GCC or open to relocating
• Degree in HCI, Computer Science or Graphic Design
• Strong portfolio showing polished, professionally presented work with clear visual storytelling

Required skills

• Hands-on experience with AI-powered design platforms such as Cursor and Claude
• Navigating ambiguity in early-stage products

Nice to have: experience at notable AI companies and a technical background. Candidates applying from Qatar must provide residency and nationality information for visa processing, which is handled separately by the authorities.
