Product Manager - Customer Experience

About the role

UMO is a stealth-mode FinTech building an AI-powered, unified money platform across fiat, crypto and investments, with its headquarters in the UAE and offices in Portugal and Ukraine. As Product Manager - Customer Experience, you will own the end-to-end customer experience in the UMO mobile app, from onboarding to everyday use of crypto and fiat features, with strong product autonomy.

Key responsibilities

• Build a deep understanding of customers, their needs and what drives their trust and behaviour with crypto and fiat.
• Design a coherent, unified app experience from onboarding through crypto use and upcoming fiat features.
• Plan and run user research, interviews and UX/usability tests, turning insights into product decisions.
• Define CX metrics (onboarding conversion, activation, retention, CSAT/NPS) and improve them through experiments.
• Work with Compliance and Risk so user journeys meet regulatory requirements without unnecessary friction.
• Partner with Design, Engineering, Operations and Marketing to ship, measure and iterate on features.
• Use AI tools (Cursor, Claude) in daily workflows to speed up research synthesis, specs and journey mapping.

Required profile

• 4+ years in product management, including at least 2+ years in B2C fintech with a mobile-first product.
• Hands-on crypto product experience, including wallets, custody, on-chain transactions and retail users.
• Proven track record of improving conversion, activation or retention.
• Experience planning and running user research and usability testing.
• Understanding of regulated onboarding frameworks and compliance boundaries.
• Fluent English, spoken and written.

Required skills

• Funnel optimization, cohort analysis, A/B testing and event tracking.
• Bonus: knowledge of MENA or emerging-market users, AI-powered app features, and first-time crypto onboarding.
