Production Assembly Lead Engineer – UAE

About the role

The Production Assembly Lead Engineer will coordinate and lead daily shop‑floor activities for a designated production line in Abu Dhabi. You will ensure safe, timely and compliant execution of production plans while maintaining line readiness and workflow continuity.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily shop‑floor production to meet safety, efficiency and on‑time targets.
• Allocate manpower, materials, tools and equipment to keep the line ready.
• Monitor work‑in‑progress, output and key performance indicators (OLE/OEE) and resolve issues proactively.
• Ensure adherence to work instructions, quality standards, HSE requirements, PPE usage and 5S practices.
• Escalate and drive resolution of production, equipment, material and system issues.
• Maintain accurate production records and update ERP/SAP/MES systems.
• Collaborate with operators, technicians, engineers and support teams to achieve targets.
• Support audits, training, continuous‑improvement projects and new product introductions.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in production, manufacturing or technical assembly environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Aerospace, Electrical, Electronics or related).
• Experience coordinating shop‑floor activities and supporting team execution.
• Familiarity with regulated or structured manufacturing settings such as aerospace or defence.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems, specifically SAP.
• Experience using MES platforms.
• Understanding of overall equipment effectiveness (OLE/OEE) metrics.
