Production Engineer – Propulsion Systems

About the role

EDGE is seeking a Production Engineer to support assembly operations within its POWERTECH centre of excellence, which focuses on propulsion technologies for aerospace, defence and autonomous platforms. The role combines engineering expertise, process optimisation and technical problem‑solving to drive efficiency and compliance in the manufacturing of combustion, turbojet and turbofan engines.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and optimise assembly processes for propulsion systems.
• Provide technical support to assembly teams and resolve engineering issues.
• Ensure compliance with aerospace standards and customer requirements.
• Analyse production data to identify improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with design and quality teams to enhance product reliability.
• Prepare technical documentation and process guidelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace or Industrial Engineering.
• 3+ years of experience in aerospace production or assembly engineering.
• Proficiency in CAD tools and manufacturing process optimisation (preferred).
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
