Production Manager

About the role

The Production Manager oversees all production operations, ensuring efficient, safe and high‑quality output. The role is responsible for planning, resource management, equipment reliability, compliance, continuous improvement and leading supervisors to achieve operational and business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organise and optimise workflows, prepare production schedules and balance resources effectively.
• Lead machine operating and fabrication teams to maintain high productivity and quality standards.
• Oversee safe operation of fabrication equipment and implement preventive and corrective maintenance plans.
• Identify, analyse and coordinate corrective actions for process deviations and equipment malfunctions.
• Ensure full compliance with safety standards, housekeeping protocols and operational policies.
• Monitor production processes, detect inefficiencies and drive continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate fabrication of generator canopies, skids, tanks, structures and sheet‑metal assemblies.
• Generate regular operational, cost and productivity reports and monitor performance indicators.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, quality, procurement and maintenance teams for seamless operations.
• Lead talent development, coach the team, conduct performance reviews and oversee training plans.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• At least 8 years of relevant experience in production or manufacturing management.
