Production Manager

About the role

The Production Manager will lead manufacturing operations for a confidential FMCG/industrial company in the United Arab Emirates. Reporting to senior management, you will be responsible for planning, executing and continuously improving the full production cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and manage daily, weekly and monthly production activities, ensuring timely delivery of finished goods.
• Oversee the entire manufacturing process from raw material receipt to final product shipment.
• Lead, develop and motivate production teams to meet operational targets.
• Coordinate closely with Quality, Maintenance, Procurement, Stores, Planning and Logistics departments.
• Drive process improvements, increase OEE, reduce waste and optimise material utilisation.
• Schedule preventive maintenance and minimise machine downtime.
• Monitor production costs, labour efficiency and material usage.
• Ensure compliance with HSE, GMP, SOPs and internal quality standards.
• Prepare regular production reports for senior management.

Required profile

• 8‑12 years of manufacturing experience, including at least 5 years in a Production Manager or Assistant role.
• Background in FMCG, personal care, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals or similar sectors.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Chemical Engineering or a related field.
• Strong production planning and manufacturing operations expertise.
• Proven leadership, analytical and decision‑making abilities.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or Focus.
