Production Manager – Lead Manufacturing Operations

About the role

The Production Manager oversees the entire Production Department, ensuring that daily operations, manpower, and facility maintenance meet the company’s budgetary and quality targets. This role is pivotal in driving efficiency, equipment reliability, and safety across all production activities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and supervise overall production operations, plants, manpower, and daily activities.
• Plan and achieve production targets in line with the annual budget and sales requirements.
• Ensure finished products meet required quality standards.
• Oversee production machinery, fleet, facility, and air‑conditioning maintenance.
• Plan preventive maintenance and coordinate breakdown repairs with the workshop.
• Minimize downtime by ensuring optimum machinery performance.
• Coordinate with Sales, Crusher, Purchase, Stores, and Workshop for smooth operations.
• Forecast and arrange required spare parts and maintenance materials.
• Prepare production and maintenance reports for the General Manager.
• Prepare and monitor the annual Production Department budget.
• Monitor performance of Production Engineers, Supervisors, and Operators.
• Ensure compliance with company safety procedures.
• Drive productivity, cost efficiency, equipment reliability, and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in production or plant management.
• Strong knowledge of production machinery and maintenance processes.
• Proven leadership, planning, coordination and problem‑solving abilities.
• Capability to manage manpower, budgets, production targets and maintenance activities.
