Production & Material Planner

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Production & Material Planner to join our Supply Chain team at a leading tobacco filter manufacturer in Fujairah Free Zone. The role ensures smooth production scheduling, material availability, and inventory control in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain daily, weekly and monthly production schedules aligned with demand, capacity and inventory targets.
• Monitor production progress, adjust plans to address changes in demand, machine capacity or material supply.
• Plan and track raw material, packaging and consumable requirements using Material Requirements Planning (MRP).
• Coordinate with Procurement to monitor purchase orders and supplier deliveries.
• Identify potential material shortages and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Production, Warehouse, Logistics, Quality and Chinese suppliers to ensure uninterrupted operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration or related field.
• 5‑7 years of experience in production planning, material planning or supply chain within a manufacturing environment.
• Manufacturing experience is mandatory.
• Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English.
