Production Section Manager – Manufacturing Operations

About the role

The Production Section Manager will lead daily manufacturing activities for alfanar Electric in Dubai, ensuring that production plans are executed efficiently, on schedule and within cost targets.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily production activities in line with approved plans and schedules, allocating manpower, equipment and materials to meet output targets.
• Monitor production progress, productivity and resource utilization, addressing delays, bottlenecks and operational issues to ensure workflow continuity.
• Drive process improvement initiatives to reduce waste, rework and downtime while promoting continuous improvement across the section.
• Supervise and develop the production team, providing technical guidance, coaching and performance monitoring.
• Coordinate with Planning, Engineering, Procurement, Warehouse, Maintenance and Quality teams to align production requirements and resolve material or equipment constraints.
• Maintain accurate production records and report key performance indicators and status updates to management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 6‑10 years of experience in production management within an industrial or electrical manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to recruit, develop and manage high‑performing teams and to take responsibility for operational results.
• Strong decision‑making skills with the capability to anticipate problems and implement proactive solutions.
