Production Supervisor – Chemical Manufacturing

About the role

The Production Supervisor will lead the safe and efficient operation of H.B. Fuller’s chemical plant in Ras Al Khaimah. Reporting to plant management, you will coordinate batch manufacturing, monitor PLC‑controlled equipment, and ensure production, quality and safety targets are met.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily production activities and allocate manpower according to the production plan.
• Monitor mixers, pumps, filling machines and utility systems to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Watch PLC‑controlled systems, respond to alarms and process deviations.
• Prepare production reports, update batch records and perform accurate SAP data entry.
• Coordinate batch manufacturing activities, raw material charging, product transfer and line clearance.
• Liaise with warehouse, maintenance, planning and quality teams for smooth operations.
• Ensure compliance with HSE procedures, permit systems and PPE requirements.
• Support Lean Manufacturing, 5S, OEE improvement, ISO standards and cost‑saving initiatives.

Required profile

• 5–10 years of experience in chemical manufacturing or related process industries.
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in chemical, mechanical or industrial process engineering.
• Experience with solvent‑based adhesives, resins or coating processes preferred.
• Proven ability to supervise shift operations and manage a team of operators and technicians.
