Program Finance Controller

About the role

Analog is seeking a Program Finance Controller to take ownership of financial control across a large delivery programme. You will provide a single source of truth for programme finances, delivering clear insight into budget performance, forecasts and invoicing at any point in time.

Key responsibilities

• Track budget versus actuals by workstream and maintain up‑to‑date programme financials.
• Build and maintain rolling forecasts, explain variances to delivery and finance leadership.
• Monitor contractual exposure, flag risks before they become variances.
• Prepare monthly and milestone financial reporting packs for internal and client stakeholders.
• Prepare itemised, milestone‑based invoices and manage the end‑to‑end invoicing process.
• Reconcile invoiced amounts against contract terms and delivery milestones, resolving discrepancies promptly.
• Collaborate with legal and commercial teams to interpret contract terms affecting billing and cash flow.
• Maintain audit‑ready records of budgets, invoices and approvals.

Required profile

• Significant experience as a finance controller or senior financial analyst on large delivery programmes or major projects.
• Strong command of budget‑vs‑actual analysis, forecasting and variance reporting.
• Direct experience with milestone‑based invoicing and contract billing on complex programmes.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and stakeholders while maintaining accuracy.
• Qualification in accounting or finance, or equivalent practical experience.
• Sharp attention to detail and confidence to raise issues early.

Required skills
