Program Manager – Banking Transformation

About the role

The Program Manager will lead the delivery of the bank’s strategy for international expansion, overseeing product, SOP and system scaling across multiple jurisdictions. This senior, hands‑on role interacts with the Executive Committee to ensure growth aligns with regulatory, risk and governance requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of international expansion programs, defining entry strategies from representative offices to branches and subsidiaries.
• Align expansion initiatives with business growth, product capabilities and market strategy.
• Own regulatory engagement, securing licences, approvals and ensuring compliance with local and international standards.
• Manage governance across the three lines of defence, providing business ownership, risk oversight and internal audit assurance.
• Report progress and assurance to the Executive Committee and Board, handling cross‑functional dependencies such as Legal, Compliance, Risk, Operations and Technology.
• Develop and manage investment cases, balancing ROI, capital impact and regulatory constraints.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of experience delivering large‑scale banking transformation.
• At least 10 years in international expansion for top investment banks.
• Proven track record working with multi‑jurisdiction regulatory environments and three‑lines‑of‑defence models.
• Bachelor’s degree and certifications in at least two of PMP, PRINCE2 or SAFe.
