Program QA/QC Engineer – Electrical (Substation & Power Transmission)

About the role

The Program QA/QC Engineer – Electrical will oversee the quality management system for large‑scale power and water transmission projects in Abu Dhabi. Reporting to the QA/QC Manager, the role ensures compliance with project specifications, regulatory standards and client requirements across multiple contractors and consultants.

Key responsibilities

• Support implementation and maintenance of the Program Quality Management System (QMS) across all assigned projects.
• Monitor consultant and contractor compliance with approved Project Quality Plans, procedures, and contractual requirements.
• Coordinate internal and external audit schedules, track audit findings and ensure timely closure of non‑conformances.
• Collect, verify and consolidate monthly QA/QC reports, dashboards and KPI data for management review.
• Participate in site quality surveillance visits, review inspection records, ITPs, FAT/SAT reports and ensure adherence to approved procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in QA/QC on substation or power transmission projects.
• Proven ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities and engage with stakeholders at all levels.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 quality management processes.
• Strong familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
