Project Associate

About the role

The Project Associate will oversee the complete lifecycle of small to medium‑scale projects in the Defence & Aerospace sector, ensuring delivery against scope, schedule, budget and quality standards while supporting business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Initiate, plan, execute, monitor, control and close projects, producing detailed project plans, milestones and resource schedules.
• Establish and maintain a project management structure that aligns with contractual obligations and client expectations.
• Mobilise and optimise manpower, capital and infrastructure, tracking performance, quality assurance and issue resolution.
• Support Business Development with commercial and technical proposals and coordinate contract negotiations with contractors and subcontractors.
• Build and sustain relationships with clients, contractors and external stakeholders, providing regular status reports and conducting post‑project client satisfaction surveys.
• Ensure projects align with organisational strategic objectives, report metrics to senior leadership and contribute to continuous improvement of project management tools and processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years of project management experience, preferably in Defence & Aerospace.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Experience working in the UAE or broader Middle East is preferred.
