Project Control Manager – Offshore Projects

About the role

The Project Control Manager will lead the Project Controls function for a major offshore EPC project for ADNOC, based in Abu Dhabi. The role ensures effective planning, scheduling, cost control, risk management and performance reporting throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a multidisciplinary Project Controls team (Planning, Cost, Risk, Reporting) and develop procedures, systems and reporting standards.
• Establish and maintain integrated schedules covering engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and start‑up, and monitor critical paths and milestones.
• Implement cost control systems, monitor budgets, forecast expenditures and prepare regular cost and cash‑flow reports.
• Apply Earned Value Management techniques to measure progress, analyse variances and support corrective actions.
• Facilitate risk workshops, maintain risk registers and report emerging risks to senior management.
• Administer change management, evaluate schedule and cost impacts of variations and ensure proper documentation.
• Prepare weekly and monthly performance dashboards for ADNOC management and stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; Master’s preferred.
• 15‑20 years of experience in oil & gas or major capital projects, with at least 10 years in Project Controls leadership on large EPC/EPCI projects.
• Proven track record on offshore projects exceeding USD 500 million.
• Experience with ADNOC offshore projects and Middle‑East execution is highly valued.
