Project Coordinator – UAE Nationals

About the role

As a Project Coordinator at AECOM in Dubai, you will work under the guidance of a Project or Regional Manager to support the planning and execution of construction and infrastructure projects. You will help coordinate resources, track progress, and assist in decision‑making across multiple project phases. The role also involves mentoring junior staff and ensuring clear communication among project teams.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in managing one or more less‑complex projects, including client coordination and local office support.
• Identify potential risks or opportunities early, analyze issues, and develop optimal mitigation or exploitation strategies.
• Make informed decisions that align with project scope, schedule, and quality expectations.
• Manage project resources and advise less‑experienced staff on project‑management practices.

Required profile

• UAE National holding a Family Book (mandatory under Emiratisation requirements).
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 2–4 years of experience supporting or coordinating construction or infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of project‑management principles, risk identification, resource coordination and issue analysis.

Required skills

• Proficiency with standard MS Office applications.
• Experience using project‑management tools and reporting systems.
