Project Director – Aviation Projects

About the role

Currie & Brown is seeking an experienced Project Director to lead aviation‑related projects in Abu Dhabi. You will be responsible for defining, planning and delivering complex projects while ensuring alignment with client expectations and corporate standards.

Key responsibilities

• Define project scope, develop delivery plans and implement control mechanisms.
• Lead the project team, manage performance and coordinate with Currie & Brown staff.
• Produce schedules, track budgets and highlight variances to keep the project on target.
• Review and improve project processes using industry best practices.
• Collaborate across the organisation to foster effective communication and delivery.
• Advise senior management on progress, risks and mitigation strategies.
• Maintain regular liaison with clients and stakeholders to keep them informed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Proven experience leading data‑centre or similar large‑scale projects.
• Project management professional certification or accreditation.
• Demonstrated team‑leadership capabilities and commercial acumen.
• Experience in both pre‑contract and post‑contract phases.
• Strong contract administration background.
• Ability to act as a trusted advisor to clients.
