Project Director (Data Centre Construction)

About the role

As a Project Director (Data Centre Construction) at Linesight you will lead culturally diverse, high‑performing teams to deliver complex data‑centre projects across the GCC. The role offers responsibility for end‑to‑end project delivery, client interaction, and contribution to business strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of data centre construction projects through planning, coordination, execution and hand‑over.
• Manage schedules, budgets, risks, procurement and resource coordination for each project phase.
• Ensure high standards of governance, reporting, risk, change and commercial performance.
• Act as the central communication point for clients, consultants, contractors and authorities.
• Oversee site progress, safety practices, snagging, issue resolution and close‑out activities.
• Prepare and drive delivery of reports, dashboards, risk logs and change trackers.

Required profile

• 15+ years of relevant industry experience, including at least 5 years in senior Project Director or Programme Director roles on large, complex projects.
• 5+ years of data centre or mission‑critical project experience, preferably in the GCC/Middle East.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary PMC teams covering project management, commercial, construction, MEP, planning and commissioning.
• Strong client‑facing experience with senior stakeholders across multiple countries and cultures.
• Commercially astute with solid understanding of contracts, change management, procurement strategy and project controls.
