Project Director

About the role

Innovo Group is seeking a highly skilled Project Director to lead the delivery of large‑scale, complex construction projects across the United Arab Emirates. You will oversee all phases from inception to completion, acting as the primary liaison between senior management, internal teams and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Project Management Team in creating budgets, schedules and detailed delivery plans.
• Coordinate site activities to ensure projects meet time‑frame and budget targets.
• Monitor Key Performance Indicators, allocate resources and adjust staffing to keep projects on track.
• Manage change requests and obtain client approvals before implementing scope modifications.
• Prepare corrective action reports when projects fall behind schedule or exceed budget, and propose recovery plans to the Operations Director.
• Review status reports from PMT managers, ensuring alignment with the overall project strategy.
• Mentor and guide project team members, fostering a proactive and collaborative work environment.
• Oversee the development of Work, Health & Safety, Quality and other essential project plans.

Required profile

• At least 20 years of experience managing high‑value civil and infrastructure projects.
• Proven ability to lead large, multidisciplinary teams and manage complex stakeholder relationships.
• Strong decision‑making skills with a focus on delivering projects on time, within budget and to quality standards.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities with clients, subcontractors and senior management.
