Project Director

About the role

The Project Director leads large and complex projects from design through construction, acting as the principal representative with significant independence.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet client needs and design guidelines.
• Manage regional program of projects and project managers, coordinating with client service directors and other departments.
• Develop budgets, prepare detailed construction cost estimates, and obtain funding approvals.
• Monitor progress, provide financial control, and maintain project quality.
• Oversee pre‑qualification, bid evaluation, and vendor selection processes.
• Interact with governmental and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance.
• Hire, manage, and develop staff and third‑party project managers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction, Architecture or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience managing large, complex projects, including site analysis, permitting, budgeting, estimating, design coordination, and scheduling.
