Project Engineer – Construction

About the role

Nova International General Contracting is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to support the Construction Manager in delivering high‑quality branded residences across the UAE. You will act as the technical bridge between the site team, consultants, and suppliers, ensuring projects are executed safely, on time, and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise day‑to‑day construction activities and coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors.
• Review IFC drawings, shop drawings, method statements and ensure work aligns with approved specifications.
• Collaborate with the Planning Engineer to produce weekly/monthly progress updates and look‑ahead programs.
• Prepare material take‑offs, track procurement deliveries, and verify compliance with material inspection requests.
• Coordinate QA/QC inspections, manage RFIs, and resolve technical issues on site.
• Maintain daily and weekly progress reports, site diaries, and handover documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Proven experience as a Project Engineer on building or villa projects.
• Strong knowledge of civil, structural and MEP coordination.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
