Project Engineer – Finishing Fit‑out Joinery

About the role

We are looking for a Project Engineer to lead the finishing fit‑out joinery activities for residential and commercial projects in Sharjah. The role involves supervising the production, delivery and installation of wardrobes, kitchens, doors, wall paneling and custom furniture, ensuring compliance with approved shop drawings and material submittals.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and supervise all joinery works on site, coordinating with the workshop, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Monitor production schedules, delivery timelines and installation quality.
• Prepare and review material submittals and shop drawings, ensuring they meet client and consultant requirements.
• Coordinate inspections, obtain approvals and maintain daily progress reports for the Project Manager.
• Ensure proper storage, handling and protection of joinery materials.
• Support snagging, de‑snagging and handover activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or Interior Design.
• Significant UAE experience in joinery works for interior design and fit‑out projects, preferably in luxury villas or commercial settings.
• Strong knowledge of materials, finishes, hardware and shop drawing interpretation.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
• Immediate availability is preferred.
