Project Engineer / Site Engineer – Fit‑out Projects

About the role

We are seeking a Project Engineer / Site Engineer to lead fit‑out projects from planning through handover. The role requires coordinating resources, managing subcontractors, and ensuring installations meet design, quality, safety and client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and execute project implementation plans, organising manpower, materials, tools and equipment.
• Obtain and evaluate quotations from labour sub‑contractors, secure approvals and schedule appointments with the Quantity Survey department.
• Design installation layouts based on client/consultant drawings and obtain client approval.
• Conduct site meetings with consultants and clients, address queries, manage changes and arrange additional quotations for extra work.
• Maintain internal HSE, QA and QC procedures and adhere to project schedules.
• Supervise site activities, provide on‑spot guidance, and keep clients/consultants informed of progress.
• Perform quality assurance checks on finished products before delivery.
• Coordinate handover, obtain completion certificates and ensure all municipal/legal formalities are met.
• Manage project close‑out procedures, subcontractor formalities, invoice approvals and credit collection.
• Collaborate with QS team on commercial issues and resolve them promptly.

Required profile

• Proven experience in project and site engineering for fit‑out or construction projects.
• Strong ability to coordinate with subcontractors, consultants and internal departments.
• Knowledge of HSE, QA and QC standards and procedures.
• Experience in managing project documentation, schedules and handover processes.
• Effective communication skills for client and consultant interaction.
