Project Engineer – Valve Supply Coordination

About the role

Flowserve is seeking a Project Engineer to lead the end‑to‑end execution of valve supply orders in Abu Dhabi. The role involves coordinating technical approvals, procurement, financial documentation and cross‑functional teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Review technical and commercial contract requirements and book orders in the system.
• Coordinate material ordering with buyers, ensuring correct technical specifications.
• Expedite supplier and manufacturing sites, manage inspection agency interactions and arrange shipments.
• Submit technical documents for client approval and handle bank guarantee submissions and progress payment invoices.
• Support production by providing tactical advice on specification deviations, conduct production planning meetings and prepare inspection and test plans.

Required profile

• Engineering graduate in mechanical, production or instrumentation engineering.
• Diploma with 10+ years of project management experience or equivalent.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in the valve industry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and a collaborative, self‑starter attitude.
