Project Engineer - Waste Water Treatment

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to lead wastewater treatment projects from conception through hand‑over. You will coordinate design, construction, and commissioning activities while ensuring compliance with schedule, budget, and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, organise and control construction projects, monitoring progress against specifications, budget and timeline.
• Collaborate closely with design and engineering teams to secure timely client approvals.
• Prepare technical data sheets, material submittals, shop drawings, method statements, RFPs and related reports.
• Develop detailed project plans and continuously track actual performance versus targets.
• Enforce ISO and OHSAS policies throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage scope, schedule and cost changes, issuing variation orders to clients promptly.
• Identify, analyse and mitigate project risks with effective response plans.
• Conduct close‑out walk‑throughs, ensuring all documentation and punch‑list items are completed.

Required profile

• University degree in Mechanical, Chemical or Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years GCC experience in water, wastewater or industrial effluent projects, with at least 4 years as Project Manager.
• PMP certification is a plus.
• UAE driving licence.
• Fluent English; Arabic preferred; German a plus.
